The last time I saw the Hopkins family was in Hilo Hawaii last year. This time they were in the Bay Area and we decided to do some family portraiture at the Japanese Tea Garden here in San Francisco.

I have known Sindi Ramirez for over 10 years now. When I first began with wedding photography, she taught me a lot of the production side of the business. She's been busy with producing 5 beautiful young daughters lately with her husband Mando.

It worked out great, Sindi let me know her family was going to the new California Academy of Sciences near the Japanese Tea Garden, and we planned our photo shoot around that.

We made it out to Baker beach and had a great time. Here's the cuties!

This is a money shot to me, Mando specifically asked to have the image in black and white and then leave the Golden Gate Bridge in color. I like it, and hanging out with Sindi's family was a pleasure. Especially when we went to McDonalds and had to order 8 different meals! :)

Cora and David got married two times last Friday. I was there to cover it all, and the day was beautiful and the reception was rockin'.

What I mean about 2 weddings is that we had a beautiful Catholic ceremony as well as a sunny outdoor Jewish wedding at a winery.

The stained glass was awesome, and the ceremony was good too. :)

I hope this shot looks as good to other people as it does for me.

We were blessed with plenty of sunshine, the location was sooo good. Casa Real www.casarealevents.com is a stunning property. The staff there were fun and professional (A shout out to Alyssa and Kara of Casa Real!) It is a newer venue but is now one of my personal favorites. and just quickly, Brandon Harrington was the DJ and he was great. www.elitebeatdeejays.com

I mean look at this. btw this is probably the biggest group shot I have done in a few years. I am going to have to get a bigger ladder next time to capture more of the vinyard in the background. Along that wall is a fountain with water lilies, just great details everywhere. . .

I really loved working with Cora and David, they had a great bridal party, dancing, drinking, flamenco performers, a candy bar (as in pounds of candy to choose from), a photo booth, good food, and multiple ceremonies.
